REPRODUCTION
Cucumaria miniata reproduces by discharging either sperm or eggs into the water in the spring. The eggs are about 1/2 mm, buoyant and green. Fertilized eggs develop into a juvenile swimming form.. The juveniles settle to the bottom in about one to two weeks. |
