N. robusta is one of about 40 species of the family Terebellidae or medusa worms in British Columbia.   And do you recall Medusa who attracted Neptune, god of the sea, with her long golden hair? 

The family Terebellidae is in turn a family of annelids or segmented worms and there are some 600 kinds of segmented worms in the sea along British Columbia.
