Quadrat Clam Survey

The Quadrat we used to measure the area.

We started with the top layer of mud within the quadrat.

Our results were recorded as we found the clams.

It had to be sieved in order to find the smaller clams.

Most of the smaller clams were varnish clams and polluted clams.

Besides a few small clams, we found many thread worms As we got deeper, the clams got bigger.
