Clam

Today we went out in a boat, to find a sandy shore. Finally we found one. We found many clams at a beach just east of Separation Point. We used a square as an outline to mark the hole (it was 1\5 m2.) Then we dug in the sand and put it in strainers. After we shook it out in the water to get the gravel out, and there we found the clams. When we found them we sorted them into species.

We found four types of clams, mostly varnish clams.
